32nd dokumentART – European Film Festival 2026

The Winners of dokumentART 2026 – The Juries' Statements

The 32nd edition of the European Film Festival dokumentART in Neubrandenburg has come to an end. From 6 to 11 October 2026, the festival presented a diverse programme featuring 51 competition films from 21 countries.

At the award ceremony on 10 October at Latücht, outstanding cinematic works were honoured. Alongside the international jury, the audience, the international YOU:dok jury and young people from the Neustrelitz Juvenile Detention Centre selected their favourites.

We warmly congratulate all the award winners and are pleased to share the juries' statements.

Congratulations to all the award-winning filmmakers!

We would like to thank the international jury, the young jury members of the YOU:dok section, the young people from JVA Neustrelitz and our audience for their attention, thoughtful discussions and decisions.

Special thanks go to all our prize sponsors and funding partners who make these awards possible.

We look forward to seeing you again at dokumentART!
