Betina Kuntzsch
studierte Buchgestaltung an der Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst Leipzig und schloss 1988 mit einer Videoarbeit ab. Seit 1988 ist sie als Videokünstlerin und Filmemacherin auf Ausstellungen und Festivals weltweit vertreten. Mit dem von ihr entwickelten Genre des Videodrawings erschafft sie einerseits animierte Liniengänge als Handzeichnungen in Echtzeit, andererseits schichtet sie historisches Film-, Foto- und Archivmaterial zu animierten, dokumentarischen Kurzfilmen.
Betina Kuntzsch studied book design at the Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst Leipzig, graduating in 1988 with a video work. Since then, she has been represented as a video artist and filmmaker in exhibitions and festivals worldwide. Working in the genre of video drawing, she creates animated line walks as hand-drawn works in real time, while also layering historical film, photographic, and archival material into animated documentary short films.
Betina Kuntzsch ukończyła projektowanie książek na Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst w Lipsku w 1988 roku, a jej praca dyplomowa była w postaci wideo. Od 1988 roku jako artystka wideo i filmowczyni uczestniczy w wystawach i festiwalach na całym świecie. W ramach opracowanego przez siebie gatunku rysunku wideo tworzy z jednej strony animowane linie jako rysunki odręczne w czasie rzeczywistym, z drugiej zaś nakłada na siebie historyczne materiały filmowe, fotograficzne i archiwalne, tworząc animowane dokumentalne filmy krótkometrażowe.

sie nach Berlin, um Kommunikationsdesign zu studieren, gründete das dänisch-deutsche Filmfestival „48h of Hygge“ und schließlich
ihre eigene Produktionsfirma „DEADSAID FILMS“. Seit 2023 studiert sie Filmregie an der Filmuniversität Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF.

design. She is co-founder of the Danish-German film festival ‘48h of Hygge’ and the production company ‘DEADSAID FILMS’. Since 2023, she has been studying film directing at the Film University Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF.

Benjamin Hujawa
wurde 1990 in Ribnitz-Damgarten geboren. Während seines Studiums der Kommunikations- und Medienwissenschaften und Anglistik in Rostock, sammelte er filmische Erfahrungen mit dem dort wachsenden Filmnetzwerk. Er schreibt und produziert Kurzfilme, die auf zahlreichen Festivals laufen.
Benjamin Hujawa was born in Ribnitz-Damgarten in 1990. While studying communication and media sciences and English language and literature in Rostock, he gained practical film experience within the city’s growing film network. He writes and produces short films that have been screened at numerous festivals.

studierte Kulturanthropologie/Europäische Ethnologie und Kunstgeschichte, im Anschluss Dokumentarfilm-Regie an der filmArche in Berlin. 2021 war sie cast&cut-Stipendiatin (nordmedia). Neben der Arbeit als Autorin und Regisseurin von Dokumentarfilmen, ist sie Produzentin bei radpaar films in Leipzig.
Constanze Wolpers studied cultural anthropology/European ethnology and art history, followed by documentary film directing at filmArche in Berlin. In 2021, she received a cast&cut scholarship from nordmedia. In addition to her work as a writer and director of documentary films, she also works as a producer at radpaar films in Leipzig.

Derya Durmaz
wurde in Esslingen geboren und wuchs in Ankara auf. Sie studierte Wirtschaftswissenschaften, Human Rights und Schauspiel. Ihre Kurzfilme wurden auf zahlreichen internationalen Festivals gezeigt. Durmaz wurde für das Toronto Film Festival TIFF TALalent Lab und BERLINALE Talents ausgewählt. Darüber hinaus ist sie Performerin für interdisziplinäre Performance-Projekte, arbeitet als Schauspielerin und hat dafür in mehreren Spielfilmen mitgewirkt. Seit über 10 Jahren arbeitet sie außerdem mit internationalen NGOs zusammen.
Derya Durmaz was born in Esslingen and raised in Ankara. She
studied Economics, Human Rights Law, and Acting. Her short films have been shown at various international festivals. She was selected for the TIFF Talent Lab at the Toronto International Film Festival and for Berlinale Talents. In addition, she works as a performer in interdisciplinary projects and as an actress, appearing in over ten feature films. In line with her degree in human rights, she has also worked with international NGOs for more than
ten years.
Derya Durmaz urodziła się w Esslingen i dorastała w Ankarze. Studiowała ekonomię, prawa człowieka i aktorstwo. Jej filmy krótkometrażowe były pokazywane na wielu międzynarodowych festiwalach. Durmaz została wybrana do udziału w festiwalach TIFF Talent Lab i Berlinale Talents. Ponadto jest performerką w interdyscyplinarnych projektach performatywnych, pracuje jako aktorka i zagrała w kilku filmach fabularnych. Od ponad 10 lat współpracuje również z międzynarodowymi organizacjami pozarządowymi.

Lidija-Rukiye Kumpas
absolvierte ihre Ausbildung als Kultur- und Kongressmanagerin an der HLW Schrödinger in Graz. Während ihres Studiums der Theater-, Film- und Medienwissenschaften arbeitete sie von 2018 – 21 bei der Diagonale und volontierte beim This Human World Festival. Seit 2019 studiert sie Produktion an der Filmakademie Wien. Seit 2021 arbeitet sie neben ihrem Studium als Tonassistentin auf diversen Spielfilm-Sets und arbeitet an Kurzfilmprojekten als Regisseurin, Produzentin und Tonfrau.
Lidija-Rukiye Kumpas completed her training as a culture and congress manager at HLW Schrödinger in Graz. While studying theatre, film, and media studies, she worked at Diagonale from 2018 to 2021 and volunteered at This Human World Festival. Since 2019, she has been studying production at the Film Academy Vienna. From 2021, alongside her studies, she has worked as a sound assistant on various feature film sets and has contributed to short film projects as a director, producer, and sound recordist.
Lidija-Rukiye Kumpas ukończyła studia z zakresu zarządzania kulturą i kongresami w HLW Schrödinger w Grazu w Austrii. Podczas studiów teatralnych, filmowych i medialnych w latach 2018 – 21 pracowała przy festiwalu Diagonale i jako wolontariuszka przy This Human World Festival. W 2019 roku rozpoczęła studia na kierunku produkcja w Filmakademie we Wiedniu. Ponadto od 2021 roku pracuje jako asystentka dźwięku na różnych planach filmowych oraz jako reżyserka, producentka i realizatorka dźwięku przy filmach krótkometrażowych.
