In Corsica, a woman shows her desire to protect the earth by burning it.
When everything around us is heading for extinction, do we just stare at the fire or do we start one ourselves? One woman in Corsica chooses the latter—to the sounds of pop and experimental saxophone. This is a manifesto of a lone crusader whose will is to protect the earth at all costs against its worst, most parasitic enemy: humankind. An energetic, rebellious film that plays with fiction and documentary elements as well as different media formats.
JONATHAN VINEL (b. 1988 in Toulouse) studied editing at La Fémis. CAROLINE POGGI (b. 1990 in Ajaccio) studied at Paris-Sorbonne University as well as the University of Corsica. The pair has worked on films together for more than a decade. Their short and feature films have been screened and received awards at various international film festivals.
